Stop digging, start doing: how Elevate plans your next action

Seven plain rules read every lead, task and signal, and put the one next step on your list with its reason and the draft ready.

The Elevate team

3 min read

Most agents don't lack data. They lack the time to dig through it. The lead who replied is in one inbox, the portal alert in another, the showing on a calendar, the notes in a spreadsheet, and the CRM knows only half of it. Working out what to do next is a job in itself, and it's the job that gets skipped.

Elevate does that part for you. It reads what's happening, decides the next step, and puts it on the right person's list with the reason written on the card. You do the step.

Seven rules decide what's next

Every few minutes, Elevate checks your contacts, tasks and signals against seven rules. Each one, when it matches, puts a card on someone's list.

  1. A new lead nobody has reached out to. The card says how long ago they came in. The default rule is to answer within 5 minutes.
  2. A handoff nobody accepted in time. When Cru hands over a qualified lead and nobody takes it within 15 minutes.
  3. A task that is overdue. Do it, or move the date.
  4. A hot signal nobody touched. Radar flagged something strong, like equity passing 40%, and nobody has been in touch since.
  5. Engaged, but no touch lately. Someone who is opening and clicking, with nothing from you in 7 days or more.
  6. A client with no update. An open deal with nothing new in 14 days or more.
  7. A quiet contact due a check-in. A dormant contact whose check-in every 90 days hasn't gone out.

These are the defaults. A company admin can change the times and the rules for when to chase and when to leave someone alone.

Every card explains itself

A card never just says "Call Sarah". It says "Call Sarah Mitchell: new lead, not contacted yet. Came in 3 minutes ago." The reason is the difference between a list you trust and a list you ignore.

Urgent cards ring the bell. If a card is missed twice, the team lead hears about it. And when the reason goes away, because you called or the lead replied, the card closes itself. Nobody has to tidy the list.

The board shows where everything stands

Every task sits on one board: To do, Doing, Waiting on contact and Done. When Cru is waiting for a reply, the card moves to Waiting on contact on its own, so your To do column holds only what needs you. Team leads see their whole team's board.

The draft comes with the step

When the next step is a message, Cru has usually written it already. The draft waits in your approvals list. Approve it as written, edit it, or throw it away. You can also approve straight from the email Elevate sends you: opening the link changes nothing, and one button sends it.

A handoff carries the whole story

When Cru qualifies someone, the agent who takes them gets more than a name. The handoff says what they want, what they asked, what they objected to and what was promised next. If nobody accepts it in time, it goes to someone else once, then expires.

The day starts planned

Chief of Staff puts the morning into a few lines: who to call first, how many drafts are waiting, and what's on the calendar. You open Elevate and the first thing you see is the first thing to do.

You still decide. Elevate just makes sure the decision is in front of you, with what you need to make it.
